ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has made it clear that the democratic forces will not compromise on the 18th amendment. On Monday, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman had a telephone conversation in which the 18th amendment was discussed. Chairman PPP said that democratic forces will not compromise on the 18th amendment. He said that we have given the constitution its original form through the 18th amendment.
We will not tolerate any attempt to repeal the 18th Amendment. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman agreed on the protection of the 18th Amendment. The federation should help the provinces instead of tampering with the constitution.
