Wajid Ali Khan, a member of popular Bollywood music duo Sajid Wajid, has died in Mumbai.
According to Indian media, Bollywood music composer Wajid Khan had been suffering from kidney disease for a long time.
Confirming Wajid Khan’s death, music composer Saleem Merchant said that Wajid had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for a few days where his condition had deteriorated.
Saleem Merchant added that Wajid Khan had been on ventilator for the last four days due to his deteriorating health.
It should be noted that Wajid Khan was the son of renowned drummer Ustad Sharafat Ali Khan while the music group of Wajid Khan and his brother Sajid Khan is known as Sajid Wajid.
Music composer Wajid Khan also composed the music for two songs filmed on Salman Khan while he also worked with Salman Khan in the films ‘Dabangg’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Wanted’.
