Canada: Military plane crashes, one killed, another injured

One person was killed and another was injured when a military plane crashed while paying tribute to people’s efforts against the coronavirus in Canada. The French news agency quoted local media as saying that the accident happened yesterday when the Snowbirds team of the Elite Canadian Air Force flew from Kamloops Airport to pay tribute to the people’s efforts against the coronavirus, but only a little. The bomber struck shortly afternoon in front of a house in the western province of British Columbia, killing one member of the elite Air Force team, Captain Jenn Casey, and injuring another, Captain McDougall. The Royal Canadian Air Force expressed its condolences in a tweet yesterday, saying it shares the grief with Captain Jane Casey’s family and friends and prays for McDougall’s speedy recovery.
