Yesterday, Sindh Provincial Minister for Human Settlements Murtaza Baloch also died due to the coronavirus. Murtaza Baloch tested positive for corona on May 14. Ghulam Murtaza Baloch had died after being infected with the coronavirus for 18 days.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Punjab Assembly member Shaheen Raza also died of the coronavirus. Shaheen Raza, who became a member of the Punjab Assembly from Gujranwala on a reserved seat, was shifted from Gujranwala to Lahore this week where she was undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital. Shaheen Raza is the first politician in Pakistan to die due to code 19.
