Court orders registration of case against Cynthia Richie

ISLAMABAD: A court has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to register a case against Cynthia de Richie, an American woman.

Additional Sessions Judge Jahangir Awan of the Islamabad Local Court had reserved the case on a petition filed by PPP Islamabad President Shakeel Abbasi Advocate for registration of the case, which was announced today.

The court in its decision has ordered the FIA ​​to register a case against the American woman.

Earlier, Islamabad police had refused to register a case against Cynthia and the FIA ​​had also sought dismissal of the case against Cynthia.

Another request for trial
On the other hand, another application has been filed against American woman Cynthia de Richie.

At the request of the citizen, the Sessions Court of Islamabad has sought a reply from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

The Additional Sessions Judge, in his remarks, said that in the second case, the FIA’s comments would come, and then we would see.

It may be recalled that Cynthia Richie has accused former Interior Minister Rehman Malik of rape while former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Makhdoom Shahabuddin have been accused of trespassing.

Cynthia Richie’s allegations have been strongly denied by the top leadership of the PPP and the PPP has also approached the court against the American woman.

Rehman Malik has sent a notice of Rs 50 billion damages to Cynthia Richie while Cynthia Richie has sent a notice of Rs 12 crore damages to Yousuf Raza Gilani.
