Hassan Ali, the 25-year-old fast bowler of the national cricket team, is feared to be away from cricket for a long time.
Hassan Ali has once again suffered from back pain and it has been reported that this pain is not of a normal nature.
Chief selector and head coach Misbah-ul-Haq has also confirmed that Hassan Ali suffered back pain again on April 30 and the Pakistan Cricket Board will take full care of him.
Hassan Ali, who has played nine Tests, 53 ODIs and 30 T20 Internationals, has not been included in the central contract list for next season for the same reason.
It may be recalled that Hassan Ali suffered a back injury in September last year and could not rejoin the Pakistan team. He was declared fit to play in PSL Five. He represented Peshawar Zalmai but now Hassan Ali has been injured.
In view of the seriousness of the injury of fast bowler Hassan Ali, who has experience of 39 first class matches, the Pakistan Cricket Board has contacted Cricket Australia and sought the assistance of a medical panel to diagnose Hassan Ali’s injury.
Sources said that apart from Cricket Australia, the PCB has also decided to consult with two other countries. After completion of the consultation and diagnosis, a decision will be taken on Hassan Ali’s treatment. Hassan Ali will decide whether he Treatment is with therapy or going for surgery.
PCB sources said that as the injury is serious, it may take time for Hassan Ali to fully recover but in such a case Hassan Ali will not be left alone, the fast bowler will be given full treatment and For this, they will also be sent abroad.
