Karachi: A team of Airbus experts, who came to investigate the plane crash, left for France after completing the investigation.
On May 22, a PIA flight from Lahore to Karachi crashed into a population during landing, killing 97 passengers, including eight crew members on board.
On May 26, 11 Airbus technical advisers arrived in Karachi from France to investigate the crash and have now left for France.
According to aviation sources, the Airbus team collected all the necessary evidence from the scene and also inspected the runway.
Sources said that Airbus technical advisors will prepare the final report of the plane crash in France.
Sources said that the process of decoding the flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder of the aircraft will start from tomorrow in France while some members of the Pakistani investigation team will also go to France for decoding the equipment.
Airbus A330 arrived in Karachi early in the morning to take back the technical advisors, after which the technical advisors left for Toulouse, France on a special flight AIB 1889.
