Actress Sonya Hussyn, who will be cast in place of Faryal Mahmood in director Abu Aliha’s upcoming film “Lockdown”, shared the photos taken during the filming on social media.
On Instagram, Sonya Hussyn told her fans that she has started shooting, she is acting with Mirza Gohar Rashid. He also hinted that the film might be released on Netflix.
Earlier, the director of the film told Samaa Digital that Sonia Hussain will now play the lead role in the film instead of Faryal. Some of Faryal’s personal engagements were hampered, after which Sonya Hussyn was cast with his consent.
Director Abu Aliha told Samaa Digital that the film is being made keeping in view the current lockdown situation due to the Coronavirus, the story is based on reality which shows how the lower middle class is living in these conditions.
The story of the film is written by Abida Ahmed based in Saudi Arabia while the film is being shot in Karachi.
