Strongly denies Chinese military presence in Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that he strongly denies the presence of Chinese troops in Pakistan.

A statement issued by Major General Babar Iftikhar, Chief of Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, said that the claims in the Indian media of additional personnel of the Pakistan Army in LOC and Gilgit-Baltistan were false. No mobility or additional deployment.

The DG ISPR says that it strongly denies the presence of Chinese troops in Pakistan. In addition, the report on the use of Skardu Airbase by China is untrue. Such reports are irresponsible and fabricated.
