ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has lifted the ban on the video-sharing app Tik Tok.
According to the PTA, the decision was made on the assurance of the Tik Tok administration to block all accounts sharing unethical content. The Tik Tok administration will moderate all user accounts in accordance with the country’s laws.
TikTok is being unlocked after assurance from management that they will block all accounts repeatedly involved in spreading obscenity and immorality.
TikTok will moderate the account in accordance with local laws.
